Deleting your CoinQuant account

CoinQuant is committed to giving you full control over your data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, whether you currently use the mobile app, the web platform, or no longer have either installed.
How to request account deletion
You have two ways to request deletion of your CoinQuant account:
From the CoinQuant mobile app
- Open the CoinQuant mobile app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your request using the email OTP verification sent to your registered email address
By email
If you use the CoinQuant web platform, no longer have access to the app, or have already uninstalled it, you can email support@coinquant.ai from the email address linked to your CoinQuant account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Our team will verify your identity and process the request.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, CoinQuant permanently deletes the following information associated with your account:
- Account profile information, including your name and email address
- Phone number, if provided
- Account preferences and settings
- Strategies you have created
- Backtest history and saved research
- Wallet linkages (where applicable, on the web platform)
- Public profile and leaderboard entries (where applicable, on the web platform)
- Support communications associated with your account
What data may be retained
Certain limited information may be retained for a defined period where required by law or for legitimate operational reasons, including:
- Minimal billing and transaction records, retained for tax, accounting, and regulatory compliance
- Records related to fraud prevention, security investigations, or chargeback resolution
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to your identity
Where retained, such data is held only for as long as the applicable retention period requires, and is then permanently deleted.
Active subscriptions
Deleting your CoinQuant account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. To avoid further charges, please cancel your subscription directly through your Google or Apple account settings before requesting account deletion. Subscriptions billed through our web platform are cancelled automatically as part of the account deletion process.
Processing timeframe
Mobile app deletions are processed immediately upon successful OTP verification. Your account and associated data are deleted from our active systems as soon as the request is confirmed.
Email deletion requests are typically processed within 14 days of identity verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your request has been completed. If you have an active subscription or pending billing matter, deletion may be deferred until those are resolved.
In both cases, certain limited data may be retained for the operational and legal reasons described in the "What data may be retained" section above.
